How prevelent is this Dwarfism?

Dwarfism is not very prevelent in our society today. There are many things that could cause this disorder. Some things that can cause it are your genes. For example if one of your parents has the disorder then you have a chance of getting the disorder as well. A person can also get the disorder even if their parents don't have it. Currently dwarfism affects about 1 out of every 25,000 people. The most common form of dwarfism is achondroplasia. Achondroplasia happens about once out of every 14,000 cases of dwarfism.
