how is dwarfism diagnosed?

Dwarfism is diagnosed when a person is characterized as being shorter than 4 feet and 10 inches. Doctors can also diagnose a person with dwarfism by looking at their x-rays of their bones and by noticing their failure to grow. Usually these diagnoses are made at birth, but some have bee nmade after birth. Once you have been diagnosed there is no real "cure".
